June 26-30 Canoe Trip Eli MinnesotaLeave SCUMC morning June 23 Return to SCUMC Late July 3 or early July 4 We will be 6 days on the Water (June 26-July 2) Travel is by van or car We will stay at military bases on the way At camp we will be divided into 2 groups
Each trip has a portage. We have selected ones with short portages. Cost Estimate $800 includes travel costs, food, camp fees Dates Mid Feb $200 due to Jim Labry (second payment) Mid March $200 due to Jim Labry (third payment) June 1 Physical Forms, photocopy of insurance forms due to Jim Labry June 23 Leave SCUMC morning Late July 3 or early July 4 Return to SCUMC Northern Tier Health Forms and other special forms. You must use the Northern Tier Health form. The typical Class 2 or 3 form will NOT suffice. PERSONAL EQUIPMENT LIST Includes equipment provided by Northern Tier, equipment to be provided by crew (this means the Troop) and personnel gear. Remember NO barefoot swimming. Also the bugs are worse than in Louisiana! "Mosquito netting hats" and repellant is a must.
