Scouts of America Popcorn Web Page. Popcorn will be available from
September 1st through the month of November. Scouts will be
canvassing your neighborhood soon. Please buy popcorn from a Scout!
If you are a Pack, Troop or Crew in the Southeast
Louisiana Council and have not yet signed up to sell popcorn...it is NOT too
late! Just download the commitment form and order form on this page
and fax them to Kristie at the council office at 504-889-1162.

Any unit may attend any kickoff in the
council
even if you are not in that District.
Attending ANY kickoff
assures your unit the extra 3% commission. At any of these meetings you
will receive order forms and materials necessary to participate in the
sale. If you attend a kickoff after August 29thand
your unit has not already signed up to sell, the youth in your unit will
already have been sent the brochure to their home.

 | August 2-September 15 District Popcorn Kickoffs |
 | August 18 Council-wide Kickoff #
2. All details of the sale and the forms will be handed out to anyone
who will not be attending or cannot attend their District kickoff.
First part of meeting used to kickoff sale. Last part of meeting for
any new units needing extra assistance. Attendance will qualify your
units for bonus 3% commission. |
 | August 29 Mail brochures to all
youth whose units have yet to commit to sell popcorn. |
 | August 22 Early popcorn order
must be placed by units to the council if you plan to
pick up on dates listed below. |
 | September 2, 3, 9,23 and 24 - Units who placed their
order by August 22nd can begin picking up orders by appointment on these
days only. Call Kristie at 504-889-0388 to set that appointment. |
 | September 16 - 2nd popcorn order must be
placed by units to the council for pickup on dates listed below. |
 | October 1 - Units who placed their order by September
16 can begin picking up orders by appointment on this day. Call
Kristie at 504-889-0388 to set that appointment. |
 | September 28 - 3rd popcorn order must be
placed by units to the council. |
 | October 8, 22, 29 and November 5 - Units who placed
their order by September 28 can begin picking up orders by appointment
on these days. Call Kristie at 504-889-0388 to set that
appointment. |
 | October 6 - chocolate products
will be available after Oct. 6 |
 | October 31-November 1 return any unused
product to the council service center by calling Kristie to make
an appointment- NO RETURNS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THIS DATE! |
 | November 2 - 4th and FINAL popcorn order
must be placed by units to the council |
 | November 12 & 19 - Units who placed their order by
November 2 can begin picking up orders by appointment on these days.

 | December 1 All payments and prize
orders due to council office. (Only 1 prize order may be submitted per
unit) |
 | December 1 - All remaining popcorn will be sent to
the Council Service Center and will be sold on a first-come first-served
basis and must be paid for in advance. |
